Hurricane Preparedness and Notification

The 2007 hurricane season starts 1 June. Dr. William Gray at Colorado State University predicts an above average hurricane season. Current tropical weather activity can be found at the NOAA's National Hurricane Center. A very good tropical weather discussion blog is available from The Weather Undergound.

Check back in the News section and we will update you on the status of tropial systems as they approach the keys. After they pass, we will let you know about the status of Lemon Cove.

Dock

4/25 - The new dock plans have been resubmitted to the dock committee (Chair: Madeleine Daniels) by Glenboe Associates. As submitted, the maximum length of a vessel would be approximately 23' including engines. (Click on the drawing for an enlargement. )

Tropical Storm Fay Update (8/19/08) - LemonCove survived with little damage. We lost the grapefruit tree in front of Glaubit's, the papaya tree in front of Sweidel's, the banana trees behind Keeling's, and the bouganvillae shading the yard waste dumpster. Pictures to come.
